WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT MIA

Mia Wilson is amazing! She is extremely helpful, hospitable, and knowledgeable. She is an amazing listener and never judgmental. One of my favorite attributes about her is you may be taking about a topic with her earlier in the day and hours later she will send several articles pertaining to what you were chatting about. You couldn't ask for a more caring psychotherapist. She is easy to talk to, and makes you feel immediately comfortable. Mia has an incredible ease to her.

Mia was exactly the person we needed in our 8-year-old son's life. She is caring and he relates to her easily. Her practices are based a lot on mindfulness and having an awareness of oneself. She gives us strategies that are easy to implement and effective for our son and the whole family.

Mia was recommended to us to help our son gain some “tools” to effectively manage his behavior during school time. Our son is a bright, happy child, but had moments at school where his frustration got the best of him and he was unable to fully participate in regular classroom activities and form positive relationships with his peers and teachers. Throughout his sessions with Mia, she was able to teach our son, and in turn, our family, the tools needed for him to manage his behavior during a stressful school day. Our son LOVES Mia, she has helped him understand the scientific background of how his brain works, what he can do to change how his brain works through simple and continued exercises, and how he can let his best shine through! Mia also gave our family a framework of strategies to help us as parents have less stress, but at the same time letting us know what we could improve on to support our son.
